3rd Appearance in Oregon: The King Gets Romantic
Gosh, I just love small mountains in the middle of cities. She’s a dark horse that the ground couldn’t grind, the streets couldn’t silence, and the water utility people couldn’t resist implementing their hydro-park mechanized whoo-zi-whats upon. For all that, you can’t keep this gem from shining! Even though she blew her top 300,000 years ago and some call her extinct, I prefer to think that she is thriving in her golden age.
The web of life is built upon and connected to all the living parts. From the veins of magma that are capable of venting steam and boiling earth-spume to the veins of our brains that are capable of abstract thoughts and romantic notions, everything is still a part of this same, glorious system.
